Collage and Painting Workshop with Ella Doran at Yorkshire Sculpture Park

This one-day workshop, with artist and designer Ella Doran, will involve drawing from observation and imagination, taking inspiration from the beautiful surroundings of the Park to create your own imaginary garden, landscape or interior-scape in collage or painting. After exploring the Park, Ella will guide you on aspects of your composition, such as narrative, colour, emotion, editing and mark-making, investigating how these more formal concerns contribute to the strength of an image. You will end your day with an artwork, drawn from your imagination, to take home.
