Ella Doran for the Yorkshire Sculpture Park


We are very excited to announce that the Yorkshire Sculpture Park have launched a whole collection of new homewares designed by Ella to celebrate their 40th anniversary of ‘Art without Walls’.
She visited YSP throughout the seasons, documenting every aspect of the Park, through her own sketched impressions and photography, in order to create two unique ranges inspired by its 500-acre landscape.
The bespoke collection, features two different designs, Through the Camera Lens  Photographs of the 18th-century historic landscape – including a canopy of leaves and tactile tree bark – are applied to a tea towel, tote bag, apron, cushion, trays and mugs.
Brushstrokes A distinctive colourful pattern, mirroring the movement of the lakes and plant life growth at YSP, this design features on a range of gift and table top accessories in varying colours. Ella Doran created the Brushstrokes palette, inspired by the colours of YSP, including Stone Wall Chapel, Autumn Leaf and Maple Leaf with Sunlight, as featured below.
