In 2013 Ella started to expand her repertoire into other, non-print based mediums, the Geo Carved Rug for Woven Ground was one such example.
Made from New Zealand wool, the hand-tufted, three-dimensional rug makes you want to reach out and touch it to feel the geometric surface texture.
Inspired by reinterpreting the original inspiration behind her award winning Geo design, the rug was hand tufted and then hand carved to create the geometric contours and shadows alike.
Originally, the rug was sold through Heals on Tottenham Court Road, and through Ella’s website at the time.
