Colour was commissioned by the Tate Publishing in 2007

Ella Doran continued the collaboration with design duo Silence, Zoe Miller, and David Goodman following A is for Artist, the alphabet book.

Designed as a “visual feast” for both parent and child, into the world of Colour, blending design, photography, historical trivia, tradition, and science of colour theory, through their signature visual playfulness, using vivid, saturated imagery and typography to both explain and evoke colour.
